Dear David,

I am currently conducting research into Tom Leamore and have read your comments on the guestboook on this site. About 10 years ago I discovered a quantity of cine films taken by a member of the BBC Television Service, during the mid 1930s. One of the sequences features Tom Leamore appearing on BBC Television in March 1937.
However, what I can't find is a suitable photograph to positively identify that it is Tom in the film sequence.

You said in your posting that you were returning to the UK and would scan and post the photographs that you have on Tom. Have you been able to scan these images and if so, are you in a position to post them, or would you be willing to e-mail them to me?

I am currently re-editing the film footage as it is to be shown at the British Film Institute in October this year, as a forerunner for the 75th Anniversary of BBC Television in November. As soon as the edit is complete I would, of course, be more than willing to send you a copy of the sequence featuring Tom Leamore, or if you wish, a copy of the whole 20 minute collection of films.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards
